HILTON RESTAURANT HUB PROJECT
Ozroll’s Shutter Concepts division in Queensland have just completed a major project for the Hilton in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. Working in a challenging environment with architectural concepts, Shutter Concepts provided design expertise and performed above expectations. The Hilton restaurant hub required a major face lift and Shutter Concepts took the challenge head on, working with the architect to design and produce tailored product in powder coated aluminium, the results speak for themselves.
All product was produced in house, the divider panels for each area were all cut on our flat-bed CNC then sanded and sent for powder coating, the result was exceptional and has everyone talking about the design and concept. Shutter Concepts produced and installed the ceiling battens, both the internal and external dividers, the stainless steel
wire trellis and the operable BiFold screens that open horizontally. The operable screens were particularly challenging as they were required to be frameless and we needed to find a suitable lifting mechanism, the Ozroll manual winding kit minus spring came to the rescue and provided a perfect solution to a very perplexing issue.
The Surfers Paradise precinct is a buzz with excitement over the finished look and to date we have received over five enquiries and one definite order to develop similar concepts for other restaurants and cafes in the Surfers area. Ingenuity and flair are all part of the Ozroll Shutter Concepts service and although a team effort a big acknowledgment goes out to Glenn Van Hoven for managing expectation and outcome which ends up with happy customers.
